The Springfield Revitalization Corporation has hosted this bike ride since 2011 to help raise funds to support projects that will bring life back into Springfield. Our first project and most recent achievement was the reopening of the Mars Theatre. Bike ride funds helped to buy many of the finishing touches for the theater and we couldn’t have finished the project without support from our riders and sponsors. Thank you! Now it is time to move on to other areas in Springfield and this years funds will go toward downtown beautification projects and community events. To reflect this new direction, we have changed the name of the ride to the Springfield Century Ride. We have lots of ideas and projects to fund and can’t wait to get started. Please continue to support the Bike Ride and help us to REVITALIZE SPRINGFIELD!
